With just a week to go until Election Day, yet another member of a Republican political dynasty is throwing their support behind Vice President Kamala Harris.
On Tuesday, Barbara Pierce Bush, daughter of former President George W. Bush and granddaughter of former President George H.W. Bush, revealed she’s backing Harris in next week’s election.
The former first daughter — the fraternal twin sister of NBC “Today” anchor Jenna Bush Hager — spent part of this past weekend on the campaign trail, knocking on doors in battleground Pennsylvania for the Democrat.
“It was inspiring to join friends and meet voters with the Harris-Walz campaign in Pennsylvania this weekend,” Bush, 42, told People magazine. “I’m hopeful they’ll move our country forward and protect women’s rights.”
