* Future Forward PAC, a prominent super PAC aligned with the Harris campaign, has launched a new television ad ridiculing Trump’s discredited allegations about pet-eating Haitian immigrants.

* Ahead of next week’s vice presidential debate, the latest survey data from Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research found Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz is considerably better liked than his Republican counterpart, Ohio Sen. JD Vance.

* Facing an avalanche of brutal allegations, North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson claims to have hired a law firm to investigate his latest scandal. The Hill’s report on this added, “Robinson’s campaign said on Tuesday it hired Binnall Law Group, a law firm based in northern Virginia whose partner, Jesse Binnall, had worked for former President Trump and his campaign.”
