* As Biden scrambles to put things right, the president has scheduled events in the coming days in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, in addition to an ABC News interview and a meeting with congressional leaders.
* A sign of the times: Democratic Sen. Tammy Baldwin of Wisconsin, a top Republican target this year, will not appear alongside Biden when he visits Madison on Friday.
