* The news was slightly better for Democrats in Arizona, where the latest CNN poll showed Harris narrowly leading Trump by the same margin, 48% to 47%. As for the state’s U.S. Senate race, the same survey found Democratic Rep. Ruben Gallego ahead of failed Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake, 51% to 43%. * Puerto Rico’s largest newspaper endorsed Harris’ candidacy and urged Puerto Ricans living on the mainland to support the Democratic ticket.
