Once again we have the ridiculous assertion by a conservative that long-held (and highly effective) progressive ideas in this country are communist or socialist.
The latest instance, which we’ll be going after on The Ed Show tonight, is Bill O’Reilly calling former Clinton Labor Secretary Robert Reich a communist.
Robert Reich is our guest tonight – get ready for some fun on this one.
Of course, only a couple weeks ago Congressman Allen West called the Congressional Progressive Caucus a bunch of communists, for which he has been disinvited to headline a local NAACP annual fundraiser. Listen folks, what’s up with this nonsense? These politicians and pundits should counter ideas with their own ideas, not inflammatory, patently untrue accusations that someone is a communist.
