The RNC is looking to knock the socks off of its supporters.
In a new push to drum up donations ahead of the 2014 midterm elections, President George H.W. Bush has agreed to participate in a sock style fundraiser. These special RNC striped socks are embroidered with the Republican elephant and signed by the sock man himself.
“We need your help to fully fund the RNC’s 50-state, Party-building plan that is vital to expanding our Republican Majority in the U.S. House, winning back the U.S. Senate and electing more GOP governors in the 2014 mid-term elections,” the donation page reads. “For a limited time only, donate $35 to the RNC and you will receive a special-edition pair of socks designed exclusively by the RNC in honor of President George H.W. Bush.”
