Today’s installment of campaign-related news items from across the country.

* In Wisconsin, the latest Marquette Law School Poll found Vice President Kamala Harris leading Donald Trump, 52% to 48%, in a head-to-head margin. When third-party candidates are added to the mix, the Democrat’s advantage is slightly larger. (Click the link for information on the survey’s methodology and margin of error.)

* As for Wisconsin’s closely watched U.S. Senate race, the same Marquette Law School Poll showed the incumbent, Democratic Sen. Tammy Baldwin, ahead of Republican Eric Hovde, 53% to 46%. (Click the link for information on the survey’s methodology and margin of error.)

* Speaking of the Badger State, Baldwin also has picked up an endorsement from the Farm Bureau Federation. The Wisconsin senator is the first statewide Democrat to receive the Farm Bureau endorsement in over 20 years.

* With fewer than five weeks remaining before Election Day, Republican Sen. Rick Scott of Florida — the Senate’s wealthiest member — is reportedly poised to place roughly $10 million in new TV ads for his re-election bid’s homestretch.

* In Texas, former Republican Rep. Liz Cheney is already backing Republican Sen. Ted Cruz’s Democratic rival, and now former Republican Rep. Adam Kinzinger has announced that he’ll lead a GOP group backing Rep. Colin Allred’s Senate bid.

* Speaking of Cheney, the former House Republican Conference chair is hitting the campaign trail with Harris, scheduling a campaign event in Ripon, Wisconsin — the city commonly recognized as the birthplace of the Republican Party. 

* And a group of voters who supported Nikki Haley have created an operation called “Haley Voters for Harris.” The group’s new ads are reportedly poised to start running in seven battleground states.
