The race for cash is on.. and it’s not just Republicans with a hand out. New totals from President Obama’s latest haul have him and the DNC bringing in $68 million last quarter. Exceeding estimates… but there are reports that it’s still not enough.
And that’s just from your traditional run-of-the-mill donors. The kind that can easily drop $45K on a meal.
Now there are the Super-Pacs adding to the growing war chest in this 2012 race. This political beast, the “Super-Pac,” was created out of a 2010 Supreme Court decision. Now these “independent” groups can raise and spend what they want.
Just think about where else this money can go.
