Actor Chris Noth dropped by NOW with Alex Wagner Thursday to discuss climate change and share his thoughts on President Obama’s State of the Union address.
“I like the rhetoric that the president made,” Noth said, “but it’s far too little, it’s far too late. People talk, nature acts. I don’t think people get it till they get a huge storm and then they think about it a little and then we clean it up and then it’s forgotten again.”
The panel discussed President Obama’s promise to take action on the issue–by executive order if necessary–in his second term.
“I wish he had used a little bit more of that authority in his first four years,” the former “Law and Order” and “Sex and the City” star said. “I think there’s a lot more he could have done with regulation, I don’t even know why he’s considering arctic drilling. “
