A 19-year-old suspect arrested in Las Vegas is the gunman who fatally shot a mother of four after a road rage incident last week, police said Thursday.
“It is believed right now he is the only shooter, but there is another suspect in the incident,” Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Capt. Christopher Tomaino said.
Eric Nowsch, 19, was arrested early Thursday afternoon after a brief standoff at a home a block away from the scene of the Feb. 12 shooting.
Police said Nowsch shot Tammy Meyers, 44, outside her home around 11:22 p.m. that night, and she died two days later.
The shooting occurred after Meyers was confronted by an angry driver in a road rage incident earlier that night, as she was heading home with her daughter.
