Pop star Katy Perry tries her hand at being a meteorologist for a cause in a new promotional video from UNICEF.
As the 2015 Paris Climate Conference gets underway, the “Hot and Cold” singer stars in a faux weather report detailing the devastation caused by climate change in countries all over the world.
“Today, we’re seeing more extreme weather everywhere and as a California Girl, I’m not the only one experiencing drought,” says Perry. She goes on to describe weather crises in Bangladesh, The Philippines and East Africa, where 800 children die each day due to mosquito-borne malaria.
