Presidential candidate Donald Trump hasn’t actually read the “ridiculous” Iran deal he’s skewering and instead read the news coverage of it, the real estate tycoon turned Republican candidate said Wednesday.
“I have seen the deal, I have seen it broken down in every newspaper you can imagine, and I have I think I know the deal quite well because other people, I assume, are you know going into it in great detail,” Trump told “Morning Joe” during a phone interview on Wednesday morning. “I have seen every newspaper article you can, I have seen the good points and the bad points and the good points are not very strong, that I can tell you.”
The Iran deal can be read here; it is 159 pages long.
In the same phone interview, Trump eviscerated the very media he’s reading for not being trustworthy.
