The deadly conflict in Gaza is heating up, with Israel proclaiming that it is prepared to send troops into the Hamas-controlled territory.
Israel’s airstrikes on Gaza continued for a sixth day on Monday, with at least 91 civilians having been killed since the bombardment began last week. After warning it would rev up attacks on the homes of suspected Hamas activists, Israel fired missiles on Sunday that killed 11 people, mostly women and children.
Israel says its goal is to hit sites being used by Islamist militants who have spent the last several months firing rockets into Israel.
