The GOP is getting into the Valentine’s Day spirit with political and pun-filled online cards. The website lets visitors choose from eight cards, the majority of which play up conservative views, that can be emailed to your friends and family.
The cards features images of Democratic leaders paired with puns and variations of quotes that have caught the eyes of the right: “I’d never delay our love,” a card with Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius reads.
Another, with an image of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid: “Can we take this to the nuclear level?”
And a favorite, courtesy of President Obama: “If you like this Valentine, you can keep it.”
The least political card of the bunch contains an image of Russian President Vladimir Putin with the words: “I’m Putin the moves on you”–a message you can send to your relatives on any side of the aisle. This year’s card selection contained fewer options than last year, though it did recycle the same Hillary Clinton message (“What difference, at this point, does this Valentine make?”).
