Monday night on All In with Chris Hayes: Obamacare, week 4. President Obama acknowledged the technical difficulties plaguing the Healthcare.gov site in a speech at the White House Monday morning, but promised fixes soon. Meanwhile, Republicans are pouncing on the glitchy rollout with faux concern for their constituents who cannot sign up for a program they’ve been attacking for years. Former Massachusetts Rep. and Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee Barney Frank and MSNBC Political Analyst and Georgetown University Professor Michael Eric Dyson will join Chris Hayes to talk about this phenomenon of GOP ‘concern trolling.’
Eric Stern, Montana Deputy Secretary of State and Salon.com Contributor, will also join Hayes to talk about his recent piece fact-checking a Fox News segment about Obamacare. Spoiler alert: there weren’t many facts to be found.
Later, Hayes will talk with Evan Smith, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of The Texas Tribune, about the Tea Party Welcome Home event marking Senator Ted Cruz’s triumphant return to Texas Monday evening.
Plus: Sonia Ossorio, President of the New York Chapter of the National Organization for Women, Salamishah Tillet, Guest Blogger at The Nation and Co-Founder of A Long Walk Home, a non-profit organization that uses art to end violence against girls and women, and Rebecca Traister, Journalist and author of Big Birls Don’t Cry: The Election that Changed Everything for American Women, will join the table to discuss the just-reopened Maryville rape case. 17-year-old Daisy Coleman spoke out last week about her ordeal, detailing how she was raped, left for dead and then subjected to terrible abuse.
