Friday night on All In with Chris Hayes: It’s a conservative-eat-conservative world out there. The Tea Party purge is on, and Grover Norquist, Sen. Ron Johnson and Sen. Marco Rubio have been targeted for not being “conservative enough.” Chris Hayes will talk with David Stockman, Director of the Office of Management and Budget under President Reagan, about how most revolutionary movements eventually eat their young.
Carl Hart, Professor at Columbia University and author of the book High Price: A Neuroscientist’s Journey of Self-Discovery that Challenges Everything You Know About Drugs and Society, will also join the table to talk about the push to decriminalize small amounts of marijuana in the nation’s capitol. Hayes will discuss the racial dynamics of the big decision facing the D.C. City Council.
Later, Chris Hayes will speak with the star of the new movie 12 Years a Slave, Chiwetel Ejiofor.
Plus: Tom Matzzie, Media Strategist, former Washington Director of MoveOn.org, and current CEO of Ethical Electric, will talk with Hayes about the off-the-record conversation between a reporter and former NSA Director Michael Hayden he overheard on a train Thursday afternoon. Jesselyn Radack, National Security and Human Rights Director for the Government Accountability Project, will also join Hayes to talk about the latest revelation from documents leaked by Edward Snowden, showing that the NSA has been spying on 35 world leaders.
