2. The New Yorker put out an interactive graphic that reveals New York City’s income inequality by subway stop. The wealth drops from an average of $205,192 to $39,338 in a matter of 5 stops in upper Manhattan. That’s stark.
3. This week, New Zealand became the 13th nation to legalize same-sex marriage. After the final vote, lawmakers and spectators gathered in the public galleries and burst into a traditional Maori love song. It’s rather endearing.
