On the campaign trail, Harvard man Willard M. Romney again slammed President Obama for his Ivy League ties, despite going to the same university.
The Republican frontrunner told a crowd in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania that Obama spent “too much time at Harvard.” The president spent three years at Harvard getting his law degree.
Romney, however, spent four years at Harvard, earning both a law and a business degree. Leave it to Awkward Mitt to slam the same school he attended, and spent more at. Why didn’t someone remind him that this line of attack falls flat?
Many of his advisers have ties to Hahhhhvard. TPM points out three of his sons attended Hahhhhvard Business School and he’s donated more than $50,000 to the university.
In September, Romney criticized Obama for taking advice from the “Harvard faculty lounge.” The former Massachusetts governor used to gush about his Alma matter in the past. Buzzfeed dug up a clip of Romney from 2006, beaming with pride at his “terrific” experience on campus.
