Is the now official Republican nominee Mitt Romney running for president of America or Amercia?
Fresh off of a major victory clinching the GOP nomination, the Romney campaign released a new iPhone photo app Tuesday evening that gave supporters the option to add a pro-Romney message over their pictures, promising “a better Amercia.”
Thus, the “Amercia Is With Mitt” Tumblr was born. That didn’t take long. The blog features pictures of everything from Muppets and spelling bee champs to the Ralph Wiggum from The Simpsons.
New York Magazine reported the campaign submitted a request for a fix, but it could take Apple up to a couple of business days to process the request. — By Jessica Ferrer
