First Word: New leak reveals U.S. and British intelligence tracked world leaders

A new set of classified documents disclosed in The Guardian Sunday suggest that Edward Snowden, the former NSA contractor, obtained classified materials about American and British government surveillance tracking world leaders at conferences in London in 2009. The British agency, Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) worked closely with the NSA, monitoring e-mail and phone records of other countries’ representatives at two London conferences.
