While speaking at a wellness conference in Palm Springs, Calif. on Tuesday, former president Bill Clinton joked about his wife and told the audience that she plans to stick around for a very long time.
“She’s always been very, very healthy and has very low blood pressure, very low standing heartbeat,” he said. “I tell her that, you know, she’s still got time to have three more husbands after me. So, I think she’ll live to be 120.”
“I always know that she’s thinking about that,” he continued. “Whenever I’m stubborn about something, in her constant quest in my self-improvement, she refers to me as her first husband because I told her once she’s going to live to be 120 and have time for plenty more.”
A seasoned veteran in campaigning, Clinton offered his wife some advice on prospects for a 2012 presidential run. “My advice is that she should rest up and decide what she wants to do with the rest of her life.” Hillary Clinton recently was released from a New York City hospital after being treated for a concussion and a blood clot near her brain. Clinton returned to work last week and will testify on last year’s U.S Consulate attack in Libya before the Senate Foreign Relations committee and the House Foreign Affairs Committee on Jan. 23rd.Recommended
