Joe Biden introduced President Obama with a powerful testimonial to the President’s accomplishments and his character.
Speaking from the “ringside seat” he has occupied during Obama’s four years in office, Biden focused on a personal perspective of the President, calling him by his first name throughout the speech.
“Barack Obama is our President because he always has the courage to make tough decisions,” the Vice President said to a cheering crowd.
After the speech, msnbc’s Chris Matthews observed that Biden’s “loyalty to the President couldn’t have been more on display tonight.”
