The animal rights group PETA has stepped in to offer toilet paper to Trenton firefighters, cops and other city officials who were down to their last rolls of toilet paper.
Trenton city officials have been locked in a budget battle for months and the restroom supplies of public buildings were almost completely depleted.
PETA’s condition in carrying the rolls is that each one must carry a message that is anti-slaughterhouse. Every sheet of toilet paper will read, “Slaughterhouses are so filthy that more than half of all meat is contaminated with fecal bacteria.” They’ve offered a six month supply.
