Ten days before the first open enrollment period for Obamacare ends, a new website has launched that aims to simplify the process of finding a health plan under the Affordable Care Act.
There’s no doubt healthcare.gov’s rocky roll out was a hassle for millions of Americans. The new service — called amabocare.com — one-stop shop for everything related to finding a health plan. It provides a comprehensive search engine that gives users all the options based on location and age, as well as the ability to calculate if they qualify for a subsidy, or the penalty they may face for not signing up for a health plan.
Advanced search filters allow users to compare plan options and narrow down their choices, enabling users to find a plan that meets their needs.
The website also estimates the average out of pocket costs enrollees will face with each plan.
