Radical Rick Santorum is getting hit for his Satan remarks from 2008.
“Satan has his sights set” on the U.S. and “the Father of Lies” is using vice to go after the nation’s great institutions, Santorum told a group of students at Ave Maria University (AMU), a private Catholic university in southwest Florida, on Aug. 29, 2008.
Santorum citied academia, the church, pop culture and politics/government as the first four institutions to fall.
Last night, reporters pressed Santorum on his four-year-old comments:
“Its a joke, its absurd. You know, if a person I‘m a person of faith. I believe in good and evil. I think if somehow or another because you’re a person of faith you believe in good and evil is a disqualifier for president, we’re going to have a very small pool of candidates who can run for president.”
