President Obama and Arizona Governor Jan Brewer got into it yesterday afternoon, shortly after the president arrived in Phoenix to speak about jobs.
This picture was taken of the exchange, which occurred at the base of Air Force One’s steps.
The president was apparently unhappy with something the governor wrote in her book. Brewer didn’t like what the president had to say and stuck her finger in the president’s face, treating him like a child who skipped school.
Is this an appropriate way for a governor to address a sitting president? Should she apologize?
Brewer recently published a book, “Scorpions for Breakfast,” in which she defends her signing of Arizona’s controversial law cracking down on illegal immigrants, which Obama opposes.
