Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) added fuel to the already smoldering fire of 2016 presidential speculation with a few laugh lines Tuesday night at the Jack Kemp Foundation dinner in Washington, D.C.
In his first big public speech since his November loss, Ryan invited Rubio out to lunch, asking, “You know any good diners in New Hampshire or Iowa?”
Rubio responded: “Thank you for your invitation for lunch in Iowa and New Hampshire, but I will not stand by and watch the people of South Carolina be ignored.”
