Protests have spread to more than 17 countries across the Middle East, Northern Africa, and Asia. Since today, Friday, is the Muslim day of prayer most of the protestors are off from work and have been in the streets burning American flags and rioting since prayers ended.
In Egypt, President Morsi asked Muslims to protect all foreign embassies and ordered concrete barriers to be returned outside the U.S. Embassy but it was a little too late. The protestors in Lebanon torched a KFC. And in Tunisia, where the Arab Spring began, people climbed the embassy walls where black smoke was tumbling out of the complex.
The riots are now not only focused on American Embassies, mobs broke into the German embassy in Sudan as well.
