When the 9-month old Royal Baby was caught up in a new controversy over suspiciously enhanced US Weekly photos, it revealed just how pervasive Photoshop has become – and just how unrealistic our beauty standards have become.
Case in point: model Sally Gifford Piper’s transformation in this iconic time-lapse viral video, exposing what happens to a woman’s body from photo session to Photoshop.
She kicked off our call to action this week on defining beauty today How Far Is Too Far With Photoshop. We’re asking you to answer a simple question: why are you beautiful? Record your answer and send us the video (or, in a pinch, a selfie with a caption). Send your answers our way via email, Twitter, or Facebook, using the hashtag “#beauty.”
