* Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) had a fundraiser scheduled for a Loews hotel in Orlando next month, but in the wake of his anti-election efforts, the hotel has now canceled the event.
* On a related note, a group of staffers who worked for former Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) have formed a new political action committee intended to blunt Hawley’s political ambitions. The entity is called JOSH PAC, an acronym for “Just Oust Seditious Hacks.”
* Though some turnover among congressional staffers is common, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) lost her communications director after less than two weeks on the job. “Following the events of January 6th, I’ve decided to part ways with the office,” Ben Goldey wrote in his resignation letter, referencing the date of the attack on the U.S. Capitol.
