Today’s installment of campaign-related news items that won’t necessarily generate a post of their own, but may be of interest to political observers:
* In the latest NBC/Marist polling, President Obama leads Mitt Romney in North Carolina by two points (46% to 44%) and in Michigan by four points (47% to 43%). The two are tied, however, in New Hampshire, at 45% each.
* The latest NBC/Wall Street Journal/Telemundo poll shows Obama’s lead among Latino voters growing to 40 points, 66% to 26%. Last month, Obama’s lead was 34 points.
* With some evidence that Bain Capital criticism is having more of an effect than previously believed, Priorities USA Action launched a new ad this week, hammering Romney on the issue.
* Estimates vary, and there’s no way to know if the reports are accurate, but the Romney campaign claims to have collected several million dollars in donations in the wake of yesterday’s Supreme Court ruling.
