The first U.S. Supreme Court justice to officiate at a same-sex wedding wasn’t content to stop at that. Traveling through Vietnam this month, Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg took time to renew the vows of U.S. ambassador Ted Osius and his husband Clayton Bond.

The couple’s baby son was also present, as were young Vietnamese LGBT activists, Osius told the Washington Blade, which first reported on the ceremony. Ginsburg also visited South Korea, where UPI reported she met with the country’s chief justice, Yang Seung-tae, “to discuss human rights and the rights of sexual minorities.”
