President Barack Obama has always enjoyed robust support from Hollywood heavyweights, and now some of his celebrity backers are coming out in favor of his historic nuclear deal with Iran.
The Iran nuclear agreement, which was reached earlier this month after a long period of international negotiations, would prevent the country from developing a bomb for at least a decade and allow for inspections of Iran’s facilities in exchange for sanctions relief.

In a somewhat satirical YouTube video produced by Global Zero, actors Jack Black, Morgan Freeman and Natasha Lyonne appear alongside the likes of ex-CIA agent Valerie Plame, Queen Noor of Jordan and retired U.S Ambassador Thomas R. Pickering, to earnestly encourage Americans to support the agreement or else they’ll wind up “super dead.”
An uncharacteristically foul-mouthed Freeman says, “The agreement on the table is the best way to insure that Iran doesn’t build a f–king bomb.” Later, the Oscar winner says, “And the alternative that is war.” Freeman once donated $1 million to a pro-Obama Super PAC and provided his famous voice for one of the president’s re-election ads.
