Watch out, Eric Holder: Darrell Issa is still coming for you.
Issa, the GOP chairman of the House Oversight Committee, went on a media blitz this Sunday. During his trip around the Sunday talk show circuit, he said he expects a bipartisan, full floor vote this week to hold the attorney general in contempt of Congress.
On Fox News Sunday, he said that he believes a bipartisan majority will vote to reprimand Holder.
“Both Republicans and Democrats will vote that—I believe it will be bipartisan,”he said of the contempt vote.
Last week, Issa spearheaded a push to punish Holder for refusing to turn over documents related to the botched Fast and Furious Operation. During that operation, federal agents had allowed thousands of guns to get into the hands of Mexican drug cartels. One of those weapons was implicated in the death of border patrol agent Brian Terry two years ago.
