Former first lady Hillary Clinton joined husband Bill and daughter Chelsea on Twitter Monday, amassing more than 65,000 followers within one hour of her inaugural tweet.
Her first 140 characters were a shout-out to the founders of the viral Tumblr Texts from Hillary:

Clinton’s playful Twitter biography describes the 2016 presidential hopeful as a “wife, mom, lawyer” as well as a “hair icon, pantsuit aficionado, glass ceiling cracker, TBD…”
The Twitter account was unlocked, or made available for all Twitter users to follow, on Monday morning. Twitter verified Clinton’s handle shortly after, ensuring the account does in fact belong to the former secretary of state.
Clinton only follows four Twitter users so far: the Clinton Global Initiative, the Clinton Foundation, and her two immediate family members, who were quick to welcome her to the platform.
