Who says bipartisanship is dead?
Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid says that Republican Sen. Rand Paul has been giving him advice in the recovery of his right eye, which was injured during a New Year’s Day exercising accident.
Paul, a frequent antagonizer of Senate leaders and a likely 2016 contender, is also an ophthalmologist.
During remarks on the Senate floor, where Paul was presiding, Reid thanked Paul for his “expert advice” and support as he deals with the injury, which has forced him to wear dark glasses in the halls of the Senate.
