Michelle Nunn won the Democratic nomination Tuesday in Georgia’s Senate race, according to the Associated Press.
Nunn, the daughter of former Democratic Sen. Sam Nunn, was expected to win her primary.
A number of Republican candidates are vying for the GOP nomination in the race. None of them are expected to get the 50% of the vote needed to avoid a runoff.
