Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl fell off a stage and injured his leg while performing a rock concert in Gothenburg, Sweden, Friday night, but finished out the show after getting fitted with a cast.

Nicholas Bean, who was tweeting about the incident during the show at Heden arena in Gothenburg, told NBC News that Grohl “disappeared from the stage” while playing the second song in the lineup, “Monkey Wrench.”
Grohl’s U.S. representative Steve Martin confirmed the fall to The Associated Press. Video posted online appear to show Grohl telling the crowd: “I think I just broke my leg … I think I really broke my leg.”
The band first told the crowd that they would come back to Sweden for another show, Bean said, but it appeared Grohl, who also plays guitar and drums, was intent on finishing Friday’s gig. When Grohl came back to complete the set, he told the crowd he had indeed broken his leg, Bean said.
“Dave tripped and fell from stage during the second song. The band kept on playing but started to look worried,” said Mike Larsson, who was at the show.
