George Zimmerman had a broken nose, “a pair of black eyes, two lacerations to the back of his head and a minor back injury” the day after he shot and killed Trayvon Martin, an unarmed Florida teen, according to a doctor’s report obtained by ABC News.
The report is part of the discovery phase of Zimmerman’s trial. He’s charged with second-degree murder in connection with the February shooting, and has pleaded not guilty, contending that he acted in self-defense.
Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch volunteer, also told the doctor that his lower back hurt, and photos show that he had bruising on his upper lip.
