Less than two week after he settled a lawsuit over an alleged fight during a pickup basketball game, R&B crooner Chris Brown was summoned Monday by Las Vegas police in an alleged fight during a pickup basketball game.
Brown, who’s in Vegas performing at Drai’s Beach Club on Tuesday night, denied getting in an altercation, his managers told E! News. “An unruly individual showed up uninvited and was removed from the premises,” they said.
Violent Crime Squad detectives responded but reported that “Brown was not available to speak with them.” Brown is under summons to appear in Clark County Justice Court and has the option of signing a citation for misdemeanor battery or facing prosecution. He hasn’t responded yet, cops said.
The Palms had no comment.
Brown settled a lawsuit late last month over a similar altercation at a Los Angeles gym in 2013. The amount of the settlement is under seal.
