Right-wingers are frustrated with Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s failure to offer any specific ideas for the direction of the country, The Weekly Standard’s Bill Kristol said Sunday morning.
“A lot of conservatives, but not only conservatives,” are frustrated with the Romney campaign, he said on Sunday’s Fox News Sunday. “I actually don’t even care that much, in a sense, what exact plan Mitt Romney offers in health care or tax reform or energy. A lot of people who hope Mitt Romney wins the presidency in November, which I certainly do, would like to see him stand up say, ‘I have a plan.’”
He added that Romney’s failure to say anything about his plans to fix the economy is particularly disturbing. Simply blaming President Obama for the country’s economic troubles, Kristol said, “makes me nervous.”
