Actor Ashton Kutcher has discovered that the harsh realities of parenting go beyond not getting enough of sleep at night.
One example: The lack of diaper-changing stations in men’s public restrooms. The “Two and a Half Men” star wants to see that change.
“There are NEVER diaper changing stations in mens [sic] public restrooms. The first public men’s room that I go into that has one gets a free shout out on my FB page!: #BeTheChange,” Kutcher recently wrote on his Facebook page. Nearly 215,000 people have liked the post since he published it on Sunday evening.
Kutcher began dating his former “That ’70s Show” co-star Mila Kunis in April 2012. They were engaged last February, and gave birth to their daughter Wyatt Isabelle Kutcher on Oct. 1.

Since then, Kutcher has appeared on several talk shows to discuss his role as a father. He referred to himself as the “baby whisperer” during an interview with comedian Conan O’Brien. The California legislature last summer considered two “potty parity” bills that would mandate equal access to diaper-changing tables for both men and women. But Gov. Jerry Brown vetoed both measures in September. The legislation had passed the state’s senate and assembly chambers with broad support. The couple hasn’t hired a nanny to care for Wyatt. Instead, he told O’Brien, they are thankful they have time to spend with their child.
