After years of hiatus, one of America’s most dysfunctional sitcom families is back on the airwaves.
Viewers enjoy the former Fox and current Netflix sitcom Arrested Development because it “has a great respect for the audience” and “it doesn’t have its hat in its hands,” the show’s Jeffrey Tambor said Friday on Morning Joe.
“It doesn’t dumb down,” he said two days before the sitcom returns to Netflix on Sunday.
The show aired for three seasons on the Fox network from 2003 to 2006. It follows the fictional and formerly wealthy Bluth family. Tambor plays George Bluth Sr. and his twin, Oscar.
