United Nations Ambassador Susan Rice withdrew her name from the Sec. of State nomination pool last night, after weeks of attacks against false information that she delivered on the Sunday talk shows following the Benghazi attacks.
In an interview with Brian Williams last night, Rice explained that the shows had originally asked for Sec. of State, Hillary Clinton, who had declined after what Rice called an “incredibly grueling week.”
This wasn’t fatigue, this was politics, according to Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough.
“I’m sure she was tired, we all get tired. She works around the clock,” he said. “But you know what she was doing.”
