If you’ve missed former Texas Congressman Ron Paul since his exit from the House floor last December, no need to worry. You’ll soon be able to catch the libertarian on his newest venture, The Ron Paul Channel, this August.
The channel’s tag line: “Turn off your TV. Turn on the truth.”
The channel will focus on foreign affairs and the economy.
Paul has taken on plenty of projects since his departure from the legislative branch, including a college tour, a new book entitled “New School Manifesto: A Libertarian Look at American Education,” and the establishment of the Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity.
His online network will provide high definition streaming service via television, tablet, and smartphone, according to the channel’s official website, though details on how those services will be provided are not clear. The new media venture also promises to allow viewers to interact with Ron Paul on air.
According to the site’s promotional video, the Ron Paul Channel will be dedicated to providing “breaking news stories, interviews with influential headliners, and hard-hitting reporting” as the “exclusive channel of truth.”
