New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman called Trump University–now Trump Entrepreneur Institute–a “scam from beginning to end,” Monday on Jansing & Co.
Students paid up to $35,000 to attend the school on the promise of an education that would lead to great riches. But Schneiderman filed a $40 million lawsuit on behalf of the state of New York against the school, alleging it deceived students.
“They did everything wrong….The thing was a scam from beginning to end,” he said.
The Trump Entrepreneur Institute, Schneiderman said, was not registered as a university, had non-certified teachers that had never met Trump, and utilized Xeroxed copies of magazine articles that were flaunted as insider information from lenders.
