Actress and comedian Tina Fey has had it with men trying to define rape, and she’s not afraid to say it out loud.
Fey spoke Wednesday night at the Center for Reproductive Rights Inaugural Gala in New York City about the growing number of Republican politicians attempting to define rape and its consequences.
“I wish we could have an honest and respectful dialogue about these complicated issues, but it seems like we can’t right now,” Fey said. “If I have to listen to one more gray-faced man with a two-dollar haircut explain to me what rape is, I’m gonna lose my mind.”
Fey also singled out Missouri Senate candidate Rep. Todd Akin for his remarks in August about pregnancy from rape.
