Some people do so like Green Eggs and Ham–particularly if it’s signed by Sen. Ted Cruz.
The freshman senator recently signed three copies of the Dr. Seuss classic children’s story, which the Bexar County Republican Party auctioned off for at a recent fundraiser. According to the San Antonio Express-News, the three copies brought in a total of $2,800, with the first going for $1,000.
The couple that spent $1,000 on the first copy said it was a present for their eight-year-old daughter.
