Both the Senate and the White House are opposed to Boehner’s plan, and the President says the offer he put on the table is a fair deal for Republicans.

Sen. Kerry will oversee hearings on the Benghazi attack today before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton will testify on Benghazi in January. Poll of the day: A majority of Americans says the Republican party is too extreme.
