Now, the same number of GOP senators have signed a letter to the Iranian mullahs telling them not to trust a nuclear deal with President Obama because any deal will be written in disappearing ink; it won’ t be honored by Obama’s presidential successors.
“47” this time means the number of Republican Senators who refuse to even let Obama negotiate. They want a deal killed before it is a deal. They want the United States to fail to reach an agreement with Iran because that would guarantee the continuation of the country’s nuclear arms program, which would guarantee they would continue making a weapon, which would guarantee that any president would ultimately have to attack.
